Coming up quick is our last gig of the year (unless we get offered something we can’t refuse) Sounds 4 Hounds festival in Chatham! We were so pleased to be asked to play as it’s to raise funds for retired racing greyhounds and to help them find homes.
We’re also doubly pleased as they have picked us as headliners for the Chatham event, omg so cool and scary! It’s donation entry and everything goes to the charity so if you are near Chatham on Sept 23rd please drop by and enjoy some excellent music.
We just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who came to our show this week at The Brunswick in Hove! You guys were awesome and it was lovely to be back at that venue, one of our favourites we have played so far :D
We have one gig left this year (unless someone offers us something we can’t refuse) Sounds 4 Hounds festival in Chatham so if you want to see us live, that’s where you need to be!
Well, what can we say, thank you so much to AEFES Home Education Festival for having us last night! Totally DIY but incredibly friendly fest, highlights included the free food and drink, fire-eaters, watching the sunset in a beautiful location and the very appreciative and engaged audience.
The definite high point was when we were choosing our last song and we gave the audience a choice of an original, a cover, or the box (Cajon). Without hesitation, the whole audience shouted at us “the box” or “the mystery box” which was hilarious.
Thank you to everyone who came up at the end to say nice things, bought merch and took stickers, you are awesome!
Some photos from our gig last Friday night at The Hope and Ruin, where we joined Echoes in Red to celebrate their new EP launch. It was great fun! Thanks to Sarah-Kye Faulkner for the photos and cheers to Luna Blue and Panic Island who played cracking sets.
Our next gig is at Bevfest, 8th July in Bevendean (Brighton again). See you there!
This weekend has been pretty busy for us, Saturday we filmed a new music video on top of Devil’s Dyke which was beyond beautiful! We got so lucky with the sunset, the mist, the colours, honestly, some of the footage we have is just gorgeous.
Sunday we played a gig at The Cowley in Brighton for Paul Stapleton as part of a folk/punk weekender and it was a great way to spend Sunday afternoon. It was like playing a gig in your friends living room, completely chilled, intimate and we met some awesome peeps!
Thanks to Paul for putting us on, and thanks to Sarah-Kye Faulkner for the behind the scenes photos, roadie duties, additional cameraman and general band helper outer, you’re awesome
So last weekend we performed at Dart Music Festival which kicked off our summer run of gigs! As is customary for us now, we filmed it! We’ve put together a vlog about the whole experience, including some live footage from our set, some awesome bands we found and some beautiful scenery!
